Accommodation – you need to organise this yourselves direct with the accommodation providers.
The Altamount House Hotel in Blairgowrie is where we will be having the gathering. They have reserved all their 18 rooms for Clan Rattray from Thursday 4 th September and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Price £50 per person per night sharing. They have two Single rooms at £60 per night. They have 3 family rooms. Local B&B prices vary around the £25 per person per night bed and breakfast rate. Self-catering sleeping up to 8 between £250 and £450 per week. Try the local tourist association web site www.bepta.com/about.html for information. Cathy at the Altamount Hotel will also help you out.
We strongly recommend you book your accommodation as soon as possible as the Blairgowrie and Rattray Games weekend means most accommodation will be booked up. The sooner you book the better.

This will help reduce our [Kathleen and my] administration work if you do not mind doing this, directly with Hugh. – Thanks for your help.
2. Please note both Hugh and Kathleen and I have full time employment so please allow us a week or so to respond. I suggest if you do no hear anything after 10 days please send us both another e-mail, to make sure the first one got through. We will always acknowledge your e-mail to let you know we have received it. So no acknowledgement, assume we have not received it. If your payment and application is sent by post allow us 2 to 3 weeks to acknowledge it. We will have a simple acknowledgement letter we will post out to you to say we have received your registration and a place has been reserved for you.
3. Personal cheques this is OK if you are resident in the United Kingdom of Great Britain but for those of you who have banks outside the British Isles your cheques can not be processed here. Also money orders etc. that are not in the UK currency, incur costs in changing them, which means the Clan Society would have to subsidise these orders if they were to be processed.
So please make all payments in £GB (Great Britain) to Clan Rattray Society by going in to your bank or exchange bureau and transfer your currency in to £GB before sending us your payment for the gathering.
Clan Rattray Society Sweatshirts.
The Clan Society Sweatshirts have been purchased for all our Gatherings, with a number of people indicating they wished to place further orders. Would everyone, including those who have indicated they wish to place further orders, please complete this form if you wish to purchase a sweatshirt.
We are offering to Clan Society members a further opportunity to purchase the machine washable, crew neck sweatshirt (50% polyester, 50% cotton), in Navy, Light and Royal Blue; Bright and Classic Red; Bottle and Emerald Green; Black; White; Burgundy; Purple and Grey.
The sweat shirt will have the Rattray Crest embroidered on it, with the words ‘Clan Rattray` underneath.
Sizes available are:- S (34/36), M (38), L (40/42), XL (44/46), and XXL (48).
Children’s sizes:- 24” to 34”
Price Adult £21.00 each. Children £14.00
Postage and Packaging (for those who are not coming to the International Gathering in September 2008 when you can pick up your Clan sweatshirt). UK £3.50 per sweatshirt.
Overseas £5.50 per sweatshirt.
N.B. We have been able to get the company that produces the garments to do this for us.
